This die cuts nicely with 110 lb card stock. I cut the edges of the flower parts away from the thin frame border to end up with just the die cut of the floral image. I then framed the floral image within a stitched die cut frame.
The delicate design of this die lends itself well to multiple usage possibilities. Due to the delicate lines in the design I would suggest that you use a heavy weight cardstock because the outside frame edges are very thin. With that said, you can use the die perfectly if you want to cut just the floral part of the design. I cut the floral section of the design using a 65lb card stock with the intention of inking the delicate design. I have attached my sample for this technique.
This die is beautiful, but because it is so delicate and intricate I had to run it through my Platinum 6 a few times to make sure all of the cuts were clean.
As will all of Altenew's products, I love this die! Can't wait to use it over blended ink backgrounds, alcohol ink backgrounds, etc.
