Love love this crisp colors

Love Altenew Inks!

Graduated from the 60 mini cube set. I love how smooth the ink dries and the best part is the color families. Makes my life so much easier. Now I have even more colors to play with! However, I do wish there were some bright orange and yellows. Bright may not be the right word but that why I like the Altenew grouping system.

Solid set with some room for expansion

As others have stated, the ink behaves beautifully and is wonderful for layering colors. Altenew does a very good job of grouping the colors together that work together so the yellow-greens are in a named group, the blue-greens are in a named group, etc. This makes arranging them in a ROYGBIV format easy. For a large set of inks, there is very little overlap in colors being similar to one another. Surprisingly, there are holes in the color groupings, most noticeably in the yellows, oranges, reds, and browns. Specifically, the rich, jewel, colors are missing (think autumn color palettes). Of note, as I swatched each color, the light colors (usually the first 2 in the color run) do not leave a discernible second-generation image.
