Each color offers a transparent to semi-transparent finish, strong tinting power, and excellent lightfastness. The metal pans are detachable and held in place by a magnetic strip inside the case.

Nice palette for learning

I couldn’t resist the colors in this palette and I really like that I was able to start figuring out how they play with the water and each other as a beginner. I especially loved all the green variations I was able to get mixing combinations of the Moss, still waters, and ochre. The packaging is also beautiful.

Deep Muse watercolor compact

Just got this set and was able to play. Love the colors and versatility. I recently saw Jaycee Gaspar use this and am more inspired to do more watercoloring.

Nice deep rich colors

I really like the deep early colors in this palette; the paint produces a nice rich color. Also, the palette/compact is really nicely made; has a feel of elegance (nice mixing space built in the lid). I also like that the compact has the color palette on the cover and a painted flower and color description on the backside; really nice.

Beautiful selection of earthy browns, deep reds and muted darks. Perfect for rustic florals, forest scenes, moody fall palettes or earthy still life. Overall, interesting palettes with unique textures and color moods. Love the compact design and color names & swatches already printed on the box. Perfect for quick experiments and sketchbook play.
