This watercolor brush set was thoughtfully put together by Lindsay Weirich. The variety of brush sizes and types is useful for achieving a variety of techniques. The round brushes come to a sharp point, and the flat and angle brushes have a crisp line (the 1/2 inch flat had a few stray hairs due to being bent backwards by the cap, but they came back to shape after washing the sizing out and could easily be trimmed off if they stick out in the future). The bristles are soft, flexible, and hold a good amount of water that is just right for watercolor painting. The filbert brush is meant for the scrubbing technique, but I find it also is useful for adding small details in unique rounded/ softer shapes. I plan to use these brushes regularly.

I love these new brushes, they work so well with my Altenew watercolors. The rounds keep their points and hold enough water to work the way I need them to work. The variety is great. Thank You for working with Lindsay Weirich to make these brushes. I hope there is enough interest to have Lindsay design brushes for gouache. It's hard to find brushes designed specifically for gouache.

Good brushes. Well packaged and a good variety of sizes/styles. They hold water well. However, for me personally, I find them a little difficult to hold compared to wood handled brushes. They seemed to slip out of my hands often.

A great set of watercolour brushes, with round, flat and angled. Love the packaging too.
