Peeking Leaves Cover Die

I love this cover plate! Its perfect for so many different cards!

I have coveted this die for the longest time and waited, waited, waited for it to go on sale. (laughter) Because my crafting budget is limited, I go for the products I believe are the most versatile, and exclude cover dies from that category. I apologize for that judgement, Altenew; in this instance I was wrong. This die is SO versatile! You can glam things up with metallic and glittered papers, which the die cuts cleanly. Depending on the color of the standard cardstock used, you can give your cards a seasonal theme. Use a piece of cling wrap and die cut a riot of autumn colors, then inlay a whole note set. Place a sentiment in the open top portion of the die--or over the leaves at the bottom--both placements look good. Create leaves in school colors, or the recipient's favorite colors; ink behind, ink on top; put pastes underneath... there's no end to the looks this die can carry off. By the way, you can also change the orientation of your card from portrait to landscape and still get a great look--or even snip the leaves apart! Turns out what limits me in crafting is myself--not the die. This one is great!

Love this detailed die. I like botanicals a lot, and find myself using foliage dies like this a lot for masculine cards. I am planning to use this with a colorful backer, and also with an inlay technique. It makes a good landing spot for a sentiment too!

This die plate makes a beautiful panel that can be used for so many different occasions.

This die can be used in many ways and I’m am always pleased with ALTENEW products. They are made well and a great value for the money.
