We heard you loud and clear! This ultra-thin mat is meant to accommodate the thicker, cling rubber stamps so that you can still use your favorite stamps with the Stampwheel 2.0. No need to remove the sticky photopolymer mat on the Stampwheel 2.0! Simply place it on top of the photopolymer sticky mat, add your cling stamps, and stamp away! Aside from that, this versatile thin sticky mat also has "repositionable" adhesive on both sides. The back side can help it stay in place on the Stampwheel 2.0 or any work surface, while the front is to hold your paper media in place.

Just received this and I've used it for stencils, blending, and so many other things already. Card stock comes off easily with great results.

SlimGrip Sticky Mat (Translucent)

The SlimGrip Sticky Mat (Translucent) was bought to be used inside the base of the Tim Holtz stamping platform so it could hold cardstock without the magnets. The 9x9 size fits perfectly inside to give full coverage and not overhang when in the platform. The acetate that comes with sticky mat is great to keep around so that it can be placed back on the sticky mat when not in used to prevent dust from accumulating on it and to keep it in good condition. It’s thin enough even with the acetate still on to use with magnets if desired. The grids and outlines on the mat are great for ensuring the cardstock is aligned when placed on the platform. I’m so glad I decided to get this mat from Altenew and if more is needed in the future, I will get this sticky mat again since it fits my stamping platform.
