Great design. This has a vintage vibe when stenciled in the suggested colors. It was really easy to line up each layer. Detail blending brushes and mini brushes helped get the ink in the small openings. I stenciled two at a time and used one to make a card for all my earrings.
I do enjoy Altenew’s stamps for card making and was always frustrated with not being able to find floral backgrounds in the colors l wanted for some of my cards. Challenge solved now! This stencil is so pretty that it can stand alone with a simple statement on a card front and it comes out fabulous. I almost hate to cover any part of it up with other embellishments.
I do like to use all of Altenew’s stencils and can’t wait to see what future Altenew designs will become my next favorite.
I’m absolutely in love with a stencil! It does take a little bit of practice to get really good at the stencil and yes, it is seven levels, but it comes out to be a beautiful background piece for a card! In it of itself is perfect for a card without any additional elements, but for a simple sentiment. You cannot go wrong with this design.
I have a lot of stencils, but this may be my favorite. Very versatile.
I saw Jennifer McGuire demonstrate this stencil and knew I had to have it--but alas, it was sold out everywhere, so I had to wait until it was restocked. But it was so worth the wait. It's an incredibly versatile stencil with many different options. Love it!
