This keyhole system is GENIUS! I have quite a few die sets, including some from other manufacturers, and this is so easy to use! Seriously! I hope Altenew has patented this, because it really helps me with aging eyes. I just look for that little key hole, line up my pieces in numerical order (it’s on each die cut), and then glue them up. BAM! Just like that!

Craft-A-Flower: Coreopsis

I have relatives who live in Florida, and they were thrilled to receive cards featuring the State Flower! I received so many comments about the realistic look of the flowers created with this die set--right down to the appearance of the leaves. (Thanks, Altenew, for making ME look good!) On their cards I used just a touch of ink blending to get a bit of depth, keeping to the color scheme on the packaging as it matches the flower shown on the state license plate. When it came time to make flowers just for myself, however, I went wild with fanciful combinations, including rainbow-colored petals! (laughter) So much fun.
