Elephantastic Die Set

Altenew is a GENIUS! Thank you for including a keyhole design and number on the layering dies for the Elephantastic Die Set. It was so easy to line up each little keyhole to create the elephants for my card. And the little numbers helped me know which order to assemble the layers.

This is my first die set with the little arrows to align the layers. Genius. I’ve had flowers before that I gave up using because they were difficult to assemble. I’ve made four cards already with this set. They can be great for guy cards. The baby elephant is really adorable. Well done.

These layering dies cut perfectly and are SO EASY to line up and stack correctly, thanks to the numbering on the dies and the little keyhole shapes. I wish all dies were this easy to use! I had fun creating a simple background and popping up the elephants with foam dots. A friend loves elephants so this will be her birthday card!

My heart beats so much faster when I see layered animal dies, but matching Momma and Baby coordinating dies....catch me I am falling! I bought the giraffe duo as well and am hoping you make so many more of these very realistic animal duos. Your new inks were used to colour white heavy card stock, and them used with a water brush to add subtle shading.

This is a wonderful layering die set--so easy to assemble, thanks to the layering guide. I don't know how it's possible with a simple die and cardstock, but I swear to you that baby has the most endearing expression, without any inking to provide dimension! That the dies are etched provides texture lines on both elephants, adding to the sense of realism. I also own the Gentle Giraffes set (equally as wonderful), which are roughly the same size. This makes the two sets not to scale if you're wanting to combine them on a card front, but there are ways around that (mama giraffe with baby elephant, foreground vs background placement). Make more animal dies, Altenew! Those you've offered so far are genius!
