I really enjoyed using this cover die! It completely fills an A2 card front and it was the perfect background for a throwback get well card for my brother-in-law!
I love how this die cut looks, especially with metallic cardstock! It looks beautiful ontop of a blened background, too!
ALTENEW PRODUCTS ARE GREAT
I really love the look of the cover die and really wanted to use it as a white on white underlayer for cards featuring rainbows and other main elements, but I could not ever get the entire plate to cut. It would cut at the top and bottom 2 rows, but beyond that barely even an impression was left. I tried using all different weights of cardstock and any number of shims in any of the 3 different die cutting machines AI own and none of them would cut anything but the top and bottom one or two rows.
Hi India,
We're sorry to hear about this. No worries! We'll be happy to look into this for you.
Can you please send us a photo of the cut out impression along with the order number?
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
It’s a beautiful background die. However, like others who have used this die, I, too, have had a difficult time using this die. I’ve tried thick card stock and thinner card stock. I have yet to find the sweet spot to get a perfect cut with either type of card stock. I do have to run it through my machine a few times to get it to cut through thin and thick card. Any suggestions as to how to get a perfect cut with this die?
