I’m loving this tulip stencil and embossing folder. So many color possibilities for tulips!
This stencil set works perfectly with the Tulip embossing folder and makes creating beautiful backgrounds so easy. I made several backgrounds very quickly. Definitely a great addition to my stencil stash!
i bought this tulip bundle for my spring cards this year. i have been obsessed with layered stencils for their great price-point. but when i saw the beauty of the added embossing folder, it was a win-win for sure! very easy to use and gives a lot of room for variety in both the size of cards made and the color choices for the flowers. for this set, i chose to emboss first and then color. it made it very easy to fit the layers onto the card for coloring and adding some shading too. very elegant set!
I absolutely love these 3D embossing folders with matching stencils! It is so easy to create stunning artwork, especially when using Altenew ink sets. I wish Altenew would make more stencils to go with some of their other 3D folders that I already own!
I was given a challenge. Make a masculine card using flowers. So these two cards were produced using this beautiful stencil. Crimson and Mountain Pine Altenew Crisp ink was used as the base for these tulips and their greenery. I let them dry and then added Maple Yellow on the flowers, stems, and leaves to give depth. I followed up with a small blending brush with just a bit more red on a few petals for a bit more dimension. Everything was then outlined in gold pen. To add more masculine strength to the card, it was mounted on a brownish-green cardstock and the sentiment was cut from the same material. On one card I did not color the bottom Tulip, but filled the space with green using the center of that tulip only as it got in the way of this particular sentiment. I really enjoyed working with this stencil and have many more ideas for it.
