My first practice attempt was okay , I messed up with the first set of green that went into the middle of the large flower and I couldn't get that in the correct position. Practice makes perfect and I am viewing the on line layering video's but I haven't come across this stamp set yet.
Love that the bouquet is already perfectly designed & all I have to do is stamp it! I'm not an expert at layering stamps, but this one came out great with my first try! It was easy to line up the die, too. Currently, my favorite floral!
I have had the Handpicked Bouquet set for just under two weeks and I am over the moon about it! I have been mass producing cards left and right, and to date have easily made over 170 cards. This layering set creates an exceptionally beautiful flower! I have tried it in every single color combination starting with the 3 lightest colors in each ink set, and I have tried it with the 3 darkest colors in most of the ink sets. Light or dark, the results have been amazing. I started by using the guide included in the stamp set and I made boxed sets of 4 cards for my nieces and nephews school teachers (Christmas gifts). I then created my own card designs and I die cut 144 stamped images, 12 each in 12 color ranges, and popped them up with dimensional foam. I am going to use a few sets for Christmas gifts and the rest will go to a charity to sell for children who are less fortunate. These cards are beautiful and this has become an all time favorite set for me!
I have had a full morning of play time with this gorgeous set … there are so many ways to color it! I had the pleasure of water coloring it with my new Altenew water colors, and traditional stamped, too! It would be gorgeous stamped in black on white - and left alone!
