Zero-Waste: Autumn Leaves Die

I had so much fun working with this die! It has countless applications and I made a few this week. The die cut beautifully - clean, crisp cuts time after time. I am looking forward to making more cards with it. BTW, I make 5x7 cards, so by placing the die on the top part of my paper I have room at the bottom for a sentiment.

Zero-waste dies are a favorite of mine because of all the options. This one has a couple of very fiddly bits (the 3 leafless twigs), but you can leave them in the original paper. Ditto the tiny dots. I’ve had to play with adding extra card stock for some paper (even using my AG Empress), and there’s one area that doesn’t cut as cleanly as I’d like. That said, I’ve made a LOT of cards using this die and consider it a good purchase.

I love the fact that this Zero Waste die has many different shapes of leaves I can use and the sizes are perfect to make designs on A2 cards. So far I have cut out in white and ink blended leaf colors to get several different colors but will try in colored cardstock soon. Will try and use negative space and cut out leaves also. Thanks for a set I will use for many occasions.

I'm not that fond of this die set because it doesn't always cut through all the pieces and then I'm struggling to get the pieces out and I'm tearing some of them. The leaves are beautiful, but it's too much fussy work for me. I like clean cuts that pop right out. When that happened it was great and I loved it, but too many times it was not like that. I'm not going to recommend this die. But if someone could tell me how to get perfect die cuts every time, then I would recommend it.
