Stampwheel - Ultra Sticky Mat: Grid

I love this mat for holding my paper and stencil in place while stenciling! It's so nice not to have to tape everything down! And it cleans up very easily (I just wipe it with a damp cloth). Works great!

A bit unconventional, the Altenew's Stampwheel - Ultra Sticky Mat was purchased to be used inside the Tim Holtz stamping platform lid (which fits perfectly) to hold unmounted rubber stamps. I was debating between photopolymer sticky mats from two other companies, one marketed for use with unmounted rubber stamps and another for using to hold cardstock/ stencils in place. Since I have no desire to go through the mounting process of unmounted stamps, I wanted to make sure the photopolymer sticky mat was super sticky, enough to pickup and hold rubber stamps when used in the stamping platform, but not so sticky that it would permanently hold the rubber stamps or damage them when trying to remove the stamps from the mat. This sticky mat worked perfectly for my intended purpose and I feel like I am saving time and money since I can use all my unmounted stamps in the platform with this setup. I am so glad I chose to get Aletnew’s super sticky mat because it has the right sticking to hold unmounted rubber stamps. The reason I also ended up choosing Altenew was because of the larger size compared to the other brands’ current mats and I also read that Altenew has the sticker mat. The reusable acetate sheets that come with this mat are great to keep because I put the acetate back onto the mat whenv bc it is not in use.

This mat has the perfect amount of sticky to hold things in place without tearing your paper when you remove it.
