Rose Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder

Such detail in embossing. I used Altenew's alcohol inks on this. Love how it turned out with a touch of sparkle on edges!! Will finish for a card later!!

I’ve been intimidated by the beauty of these 3D embossing folders, watched quite a bit of videos & finally tried with several Altenew’s ink pads & Blending brushes I’ve had for some time. I’m very happy with the results after I figured out how to make a mask allowing me to color the background. I embossed a piece of typing paper & fussy cut the entire image, lay that over my finished colored image. Brushing from the center out with the large blending brush by Altenew, of course.

This gorgeous 3D folder is easy to use and full of dimension! Not only is it beautiful but also very versatile! You can use it horizontally or vertically. It allows you to get completely different looks depending on how you turn it and crop it! I used woodless watercolor pencils and colored on top of water color paper! It’s easy to put the paper back in the folder and emboss it again after coloring if you want to. It also looks very elegant just embossed on white paper. The dimension makes it easy to swipe some color over the raised areas. Love this 3D folder!

The placement of the most deeply debossed and thickest embossed areas are exactly as I would want them! As a result, a quick swipe of an ink pad gives awesome shadows or highlights!
