I love the versatility of this.
For some reason part of one layer you have to cut out separately. It wasn’t attached nor in the scraps. Weird.
I made a beautiful card using the giant anenome die; it turned out beautifully. However there were 14 cuts to assemble (and to put into exactly the right places). There would have been 17 cuts if I had made 3 leaves instead of two.
The card I made turned out beautifully, but it will have to go to someone VERY special because of all of the time it took to assemble.
I just love anemone flowers
These turn out ok but the top layer is in pieces and a bit more intricate than I expected. I'm sure as I play with it and come up with the perfect color combo, I'll use it more.
I'm brand new to layered florals, having put off an investment literally for years. This frightened crafter couldn't have made a better choice than the Grand Anemone; turns out the die is not too intricate and I'm not too clumsy to assemble the pieces . Many thanks, Altenew, for your layering guide and video tutorial which helped build my confidence. I have had so much fun putting together my own color combinations and will have even more fun constructing cards around them.
