Embossing Ink

Great embossing ink that works well with delicate sentiments as well as large floral images with very detailed areas! In the cards below, the sentiments, flowers and leaves were all inked with Altenew's embossing ink and then covered with Altenew's Platinum embossing powder.

I’m not a fan of my old embossing ink and since I love Altenew’s dye inks I thought I’d check out their embossing ink. I’m glad I did because I love it! It’s sticky and the ink pad style doesn’t over-ink my stamps. I’ll be using Altenew’s embossing ink from here on out.

I use this embossing ink A LOT. I love to mask the entire flower with the ink and clear embossing powder. This creates a lovely shin on the flower and allows me to add other flowers and leaves without cutting out a paper mask. I tried using up some other embossing ink which then burnt and bubbled resulting in a destroyed product. The Altenew embossing ink creates a smooth beautiful shine that can be added to without creating a ridge. If they ever stop making it I'll cry.

I'd never used embossing ink before, but this is easy to use and fun. It makes my cards look more professional.

I've used many different embossing ink pad products but I have to say this one is really awesome. Definitely recommend this product.
