- How do I apply?
We have a application that you can fill out. Once you answer the questions, please submit to Altenew. Once reviewed and approved by the administrator you will be notified.
- Is Altenew Certification Program open to non-United States nationals?
Absolutely! We welcome crafters from all over the world to be part of this. However, the curriculum and communication are conducted in English.
- Why should I get certified?
It is our goal to encourage and enhance a paper crafter's knowledge and skills in the world of stamping, card designs, and layouts. In order to showcase Altenew products within our principle and guidelines, it is necessary to set a standard that can be easily understood and followed.
- How much does this cost to be Altenew-certified? Are there classes to take?
The program utilizes classes in Altenew Academy. Each participant is required to purchase 10 classes for level 1, 10 classes for level 2, and 5 classes for level 3 in order to complete the necessary assignments and showcase their progress. When you are accepted to the program, you will be asked to purchase classes for level 1 and level 2 to get started with the program. Each class is about $8.95 - If you already purchased classes before that are required for level 1 and 2 already, you do not need to re-purchase them.
- Do I need to have a blog to be in this program?
You are not required to have a blog when applying for the program, however, once you are accepted blogging will be required when submitting projects so we can evaluate your work as you progress within the program.
- What will happen after I complete one level?
An Altenew Education Badge will be awarded once you complete a level. You are encouraged to display the badge online by adding it to a blog or listing it on your social media profile.
- What are the benefits in joining the program?

Absolutely! When we review your application, we will take your skill level and experience into consideration. You may be able to skip a level as your submissions and progress will speak for themselves (assuming you have enrolled/completed Altenew Academy classes).
- Do I have to complete a level in a certain time frame?
We encourage you to embark on this wonderful journey at your own pace. Thus, there is no set time to complete each level. Your growth and experience are vital to the success of this program.
