Focus: Lace Up
Hello!
Today we are focusing on Lace Up.
Inspiration:
Ever since I saw this image, I knew I had to design a Lace themed stamp set! I have made a card inspired by this very image, which you will see as you scroll down.
Creative Ideas:
In this card, I white embossed the flower design on various vellum (dark pink, light pink, shimmery gold) and cut them out. I used Tombow Mono multi glue to adhere the flowers on to the card base. The sentiment is from our Label Love set, and it was stamped using Versafine Onyx black ink and trimmed leaving a white border all around it.
For this card, I stamped the lace on a 8" x 5.5" acetate using Staz-On red ink. Next I folded the acetate in half and placed it over a red card base. The sentiment is from our Faux Veneer set, and it was stamped on heavy weight water color paper using gold pigment ink. I placed some foam tape behind the sentiment strip to secure the acetate to the card base.
Here I embossed the lace in silver on a piece of dark Grey card stock, and punched out a heart from it. I used the same punch for the pink card stock, and place dots all around the edge using whit liquid pearl. The sentiment is from our Figure Effects set.
And here we have a beautiful card from Jen. The lace was embossed in black, and then colored in with Copic markers. The strip of black card stock were adhered with foam tape, and to achieve a glittery shimmer, Jen applied a layer of Wink of Stella over the strips. Isn't the result simply striking?!
Thank you so much for stopping by. We hope to have inspired you today :)
