Focus: Sohcahtoa

Hello!

Today we are focusing on Sohcahtoa.

Name Origin: Sohcahtoa is an acronym to help remember the three most common trigonometry functions, sine cosine and tangent.

Creative Designs:

In this card I used the solid equilateral triangles to create a pattern. I must admit, the misalignment of the larger triangles bothered me at first, but I decided I liked the imperfection :)
Here I opted for a monochromatic color scheme and used both the solid and outline isosceles triangles to create a random pattern. The outline triangles were embossed in gold.
Another random patterned card. Here however, I used second and third generation stamping to create a different look.
Here I overlapped some of the striped and solid triangles. The white stripes did a dual job for me, they added an interesting element to the card, and covered up some ink smudges! This card is a mini size, it measure 4.5 x 3 inches.
This card from Jen is over the top gorgeous! She stamped the pattern on a white panel, then adhered thin strips of almost-black card stock to bring the pattern to life. What a cool texture! The panel was mounted on a black card base using foam tape.
Thanks for joining us here today! Happy stamping :)
