Designer Spotlight: Cristina Kowalczyk

I'm totally honored to have been asked to guest host the Altenew blog today. This is going to be a big 'ole geometric lovefest as I share a few cards I made with Simple Shapes and Dodecagram.
Here we go!
First up, I found this inspiration piece on Pinterest...
...and tried to recreate it with stamps.
I stamped that background, one parallelogram at a time, in some yummy Fresh Ink colors (sugar, french lavender, sicilian blue, harvest, and fuschia), then used a sentiment from Label Love to finish it off.
This time I used the smallest triangle from Simple Shapes to create this pattern.
The sentiment is from Dodecagram, and of course I had to use a few enamel dots. :)
After that, another triangle card, using the medium triangle from Simple Shapes.
And that same sentiment from Dodecagram. (What can I say? I *always* need Thank You cards on hand.)
I used Dodecagram to create a geometric "flower" here.
Behind it, I stamped a grid of solid circles from Simple Shapes in a bright yellow. I cut out three layers of the flower, colored them, and popped each one to give the card tons of dimension.
And last but not least, one more Dodecagram card, all one-layer.
I was inspired by the colors on a Vera Bradley makeup bag I saw -- so bright and vibrant!
It's amazing how many cards you can make with just two stamp sets! And, honestly, I could have kept going and going. :)
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! And thanks to Jen and Tasnim for letting me host! I hope you're all having as much fun with your Altenew stamps as I've been having. Happy stamping, everyone!
